Kensington by Clayton Marcus Continues to Reinvent Traditional
New fabrics and frames introduced into the Kensington Collection

October 20, 2011 (Elliston, VA) – Clayton Marcus continues to reinvent the concept of traditional furnishing with the introduction of fabrics and frames into their Kensington Collection, which debuted in April 2011.
This season, the fabrics in the Kensington area of Clayton Marcus take on a lighter approach. Blues are softer and dustier. Purple leans to grayish-lavender and even brown tones get sandier and more neutral.
Stefanie Lucas, CEO of the Rowe Furniture Portfolio of Brands which includes Clayton Marcus, describes the success of Kensington and this market’s introductions. “We have developed a new collection of custom upholstery for Clayton Marcus that embraces a well defined lifestyle. A return to the classic principals of design but with a style of simplification and beauty, The Kensington Collection outlines the richness of good design with the integrity of an 8-way hand tied piece of furniture.”
Along with the new collection of fabrics, Kensington continues this reinvention with the introduction of the Abingdon, a Charles of London arm sofa, and the Aldridge, a unique accent chair.
Look for the new fabrics and frames in Kensington to hit retail spring 2012.
